Iota Mu has a lot of events planned for this semester! Here are some things you can look forward to:
OCTOBER
Big Little Week Events:
- Tuesday, October 11th at 7 PM: Trivia Game Night in Calcott room 102!
- Wednesday, October 12th: State Fair at 5 PM only $1 admission. Come out and fellowship!
- Thursday, October 13th: St. Lawrence Place field day from 3-6 PM (Strom field)
-Friday, October 14th: Picnic at Finlay Park! Come out from 6:00 to 8:00pm and look for the APO tent!
Service Saturday
- Service Saturday is this Saturday (10/15). If you haven’t registered show up a little early and you may still be able to participate!
Midpoint
- Midpoint for the Fall 2011 pledge class is Monday, October 17th in RH 205!
Trunk or Treat
-On October 29th, from 4:00 to 8:00, we will be participating in Trunk or Treat! Location TBA.
Boo at the Zoo
- Once again Iota Mu is participating in Boo at the Zoo! Dates are:
NOVEMBER
Homecoming 2011
Homecoming 2011 is here! This year, APO is partnering with Toms at USC in Rockin’ the Garnet and Black!
- Monday, November 7th: Kickoff on Greene Street! 11:00am-2:00pm
-Tuesday, November 8th: Canned Creations (In previous years, Iota Mu has done very well in this event!) on Greene Street. Showcase will be held in the Coliseum at 7pm. Start bringing cans to chapter meetings!
-Wednesday, November 9th: Spurs and Struts 6:00 pm Greene Street. Come out and support APO/Toms as we compete!
-Thursday, November 10th: Cockfest Pep Rally and Concert 7:00 pm Greene Street
- Friday, November 11: Parade 3:00pm Greene Street. Step Show 8:00 pm Carolina Coliseum
- Saturday, November 12: South Carolina vs. Florida.
DECEMBER
Banquet
-Banquet is December 2nd, 2011 at 8pm!!!
Regionals
-Regionals is Dec 28-30th, check in is Dec 27th! It will be in Gainesville, Florida. See Sevario for more details ASAP!

Iota Mu has had a GREAT start to the Fall 2011 semester!
SEPTEMBER
-Tailgate
APO WON the tailgate competition for student organizations! Huge thanks to all of the brothers who participated in and helped set up for the tailgate!
-Rush Week: Sept. 12th-16th
Rush Week for Fall 2011 was a success! We would like to congratulate our 16 new pledges! Good luck with your pledge process this semester!
-RUSH APO Cookout Fundraiser
Our cookout was also a huge success! We would like to thank the rushees and students of USC who came out to support and donated!

-USC Service Fair
We participated in the annual Service Fair in Russell House on the 21st of September in Russell House. We provided various students with information about APO’s presence at USC, including our past rush week, Duck Escort Service, and service projects we have participated in for our community.
OCTOBER
While October has only arrived a little over a week ago, we have been busy!
-Free Hugs!
On October 6th, we provided FREE HUGS to students on campus! It was a great way to advertise for Duck and get our name out there! Thanks to all of the brothers who participated!
-Harvest Hope
Iota Mu gave back to our community by volunteering at Harvest Hope October 8th!
SPURS AND STRUTS
-Along with our partners for homecoming this year, Toms at USC, we are pleased to announce our selection to be Spurs and Struts finalists! The dance competition will be held during Homecoming Week on Wednesday, November 9 at 7:00pm on Greene Street.

Rush week has officially begun. Hope you enjoyed the APO cookies. Thank you to everyone who came out to game night!! Tonight’s event will be the Sweeter Side of Service from 6pm-8pm, 3rd Floor Lobby of Russell House! Remember applications are due tomorrow at the mandatory informational meeting. Business casual dress is also required for Wednesday’s event. For those of you who can’t make it tonight and for the enjoyment of our brothers, feel free to watch the Rush Week Slideshow.

Today is Founders’ Day for Iota Mu. We are celebrating 60 years of Leadership, Friendship, & Service today!
